Market wrap up..

Last night was another perfect night in at King George Square for the BrisStyle indie Twilight Markets.

Melanie from Kimono Reincarnate & Sophie from Strat Designs

The weather behaved and so many smart shoppers were out, getting a head start on the Christmas lists. It's always so lovely to see the the many BrisStyle friends visit us, time and time again. And to catch up with BrisStylettes between sales.

Last night I sold both of the items I'd donated to the BrisStyle Chicks in Pink  national breast cancer awareness month fund raising effort. I'm donating the total proceeds from the sales to Chicks in Pink. Two generous shoppers walked away with these shelleyberelli goodies.

I shared my stall with the lovely Moose & Bird

The shelleyberelli market totes were a hit, as were my zippered purses. I'm going to get to work between now and my next market (BiDM - Racecourse Rd, 10 December) on more totes and some new ipad cases.

See you in December!

Sashay, Chantey..

Here's my wee niece trying out some of her xmas gifts. The cape is by Mon Petit Poppet, the cushions (which I've been informed, are now next to all of her books and have made her reading nook much more comfy) were a shelleyberelli creation (via the lovely Moose & Bird's pattern).

What's on your Christmas list?

Interested in spending a crafty afternoon in town?

Head on up to the Level 2 of the Brisbane Square Library during July and August. The BrisStyle Indie Designers are exhibiting their gorgeously clever handmade goods and artworks as part of a collaborative exhibition.

I went along to the opening night (and launch of the brisStyle website) to help celebrate this exciting event.

When you go in make sure to explore all the nooks and crannies – there’s plenty to see in the main display cases (all beautifully colour-coordinated), but don’t miss out on the wall hangings,

and the cabinets in the reading alcoves.
