Ok, I have finished bag number 3. I didn't really want to show it all ragged edges and unfinished seams when I posted last night. This material reminds me of spring and lemon/lime splice!

Two and a half bags
Without the pressure of an imminent market I have little self-imposed sewing motivation at the moment. Seams are slowly sewn and buttons attached in spare moments I can grab in front of the Bernina. I have seven holdall handbags cut out and ready for assembly and have two and a half ready for you tonight (well, two - the half is unphotographed, but I hope to post it soon) . It's driving me crazy, as the fabric I'm sewing with at the moment is some of the most beautiful material I've used - I can't wait to see the finished products. I suppose you and I will have to wait a little longer. Here's something to whet your appetite in the meantime...

All decked out for the BrisStyle indie Twilight Markets
Contingency plans, ahoy! The hard working BrisStyle committee had their peepers glued to the BOM site all yesterday (which apparently made for some interesting viewing). Lots of yellows and reds, not to mention the slate coloured clouds lurking behind the city buildings, interspersed with clear blue skies, meant that our markets still went ahead last night, but were relocated above King George Square to 'the Deck'.Here's me setting up. I shared a stall with the lovely Moose & Bird.
Our new venue made for great shopping and socialising. I got to have a wander and a chat with lots of lovely BrisStylettes, as well as having a sneak peak at what was on offer. Here's a bit of what I saw:
